Fun in the water at Saturday’s Beaufort River Swim

Hundreds of participants took part in this year’s 11th annual YMCA Beaufort River Swim early Saturday morning. Swimmers of all ages tested their endurance in the three-mile open water swim beginning at the Port Royal Landing Marina and finishing at the Downtown Beaufort Marina.

Proceeds from the annual event benefit the YMCA of Beaufort’s Learn to Swim programs.
