Help S.T.A.R.S./Special Olympics SHINE BIG by getting your car washed this Friday at Tidal Wave Auto Spa on Ladys Island!

Join us Friday, Sept 20, 2019 at Tidal Wave Auto Spa on Lady’s Island to get your car washed! ALL PROCEEDS generated by Tidal Wave Auto Spa on this day will be awarded to S.T.A.R.S./Special Olympics. S.T.A.R.S. is an independent, charitable organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers with a mission to provide “Special Times And Recreation” for teens and adults with special needs in Beaufort, South Carolina. This amazing organization has been selected as the 2019 CHARITY OF THE YEAR by Tidal Wave Auto Spa of Beaufort.

Meet local S.T.A.R.S. and volunteers at Tidal Wave from 10am -3pm on Friday, September 20th – so please come say hello!! Charity Day is one of Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s biggest events! Every year, each Tidal Wave location selects a charity or non-profit to support… often with a special needs connection. By extension, Tidal Wave customers lend their support to these groups, as well.
 
On the third Friday of every September, each location donates 100% of that day’s proceeds to their chosen group. The Beaufort, SC recipient is S.T.A.R.S (Special Times and Recreation Services).  Thanks to the generous support of their customers, Tidal Wave Auto Spa has donated over $380,000 to exceptional, deserving organizations over the past 10 years.
 
Tidal Wave Auto Spa first began their adventure in 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, Tidal Wave has opened auto spas throughout the Southeastern United States including South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and now Missouri. Tidal Wave will be extending their footprint into the Florida, Kansas and Texas markets by the end of 2019. Tidal Wave Auto Spa is known for its courteous service and shining cars and prides itself on providing customers with the fastest, cleanest and shiniest cars in the industry.

It is a goal to involve community members who are willing to volunteer and ultimately run various special times and recreational activities under the supervision of S.T.A.R.S.  S.T.A.R.S feels very fortunate to have such a warm, caring and giving community in the Beaufort area that will step up and volunteer for their  programs that will greatly enhance the lives of locals with “Special Needs.”  If you would like to volunteer, donate or would like to host a recreational service for STARS, please contact:
