Do you have a special story about how Carson came in your life?
Carson actually found us. He would come in our yard every day to play with our boys when they were little. He would then leave every day at 5pm. After weeks of visiting we had a scratch at the door in the middle of the night. Carson had been shot in the face with rat shot pellets. After getting him medical attention he became “ours”. That was almost 16 years ago. He was believed to be around 2 when he found us so that makes him 18.

Anything else special about Carson that you’d like to share?
Carson was also a Big Theatre star in the small town that we lived in at the time. He was in the productions of “Miracle Worker” and “Cheaper by the Dozen”. It was not a big theatrical stretch…he played a family dog in both shows. He did however steal the curtain call each night with standing ovations! We are lucky that he found us!! He is a special family member and we hope we have him around for many more years!!

Thank you to Carson’s human, Wendy Brennan for providing the information for this article.
