Community fun at St. Peter's 10th Annual Oyster Roast
Hundreds of locals enjoyed a fantastic time with their friends and neighbors on Saturday at the 10th Annual St. Peter’s Oyster Roast and Microbrew Fest in Port Royal.
Attendees enjoyed all-you-can-eat local oysters and other oyster roast appropriate foods, lots of cold beer, a microbrew tasting booth, live auctions, live music, a 5K and lots more in an afternoon full of fun at Live Oaks Park.
Oyster roasts are a part of our community. It’s what we do. Oyster roasts are held as fundraisers throughout the area and many restaurants host them on a regular basis throughout the fall and winter seasons. Attending an oyster roast is a great way to support our local charities and businesses.
Keep your eye out for more this season, and mark your calendar for the 11th annual party supporting St. Peter’s children’s school this time next year.
