The Beaufort County 13U and 14U Dixie Boys All-Star Teams have earned themselves the title of ‘2023 Dixie Baseball South Carolina Champions” and a spot in the World Series

For the first time ever, both Beaufort County 13U and 14U All-Star teams will head to their respective Dixie World Series this Summer. Players from both teams attend various local schools, where many are on the honor roll and play multiple sports here in the Lowcountry.

Proudly representing South Carolina in the World Series, the 13U Junior Boys All-Star team, led by Manager Alex Hunt, will compete in Opelika, Alabama. The 14U Dixie Boys All-Star team, led by Manager Danny Morgan, will compete in South Hill Virginia. Both teams will be playing simultaneously on July 21-26, 2023.

SOUTH CAROLINA STATE CHAMPS! 

The 2023 Dixie Youth Junior Boys World Series is expected to attract thousands of spectators to Opelika, AL to cheer for their state and hometown players. The event is produced by DB Baseball, Inc., a youth baseball program for boys ages 13-14. Eleven state champions along with a competitive host team will compete for the championship. Teams will be coming from eight different states across the south including South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas.

All teams will participate in a festive pre-tournament Opening Ceremony which will include recognition of all teams and coaches. After working their way through a double-elimination style bracket, the final two teams will compete Tuesday for the World Series championship title.

Every single one of these young men played their hearts out and represented the Lowcountry with class. We are beyond proud to have these two amazing Beaufort County teams representing our home state of South Carolina at the 2023 DBB Junior Baseball World Series.
