Beaufort Movie Tour becomes Beaufort Tours LLC, offers more

Beaufort now has more options for tours. The popular Beaufort Movie Tour has been taking folks around Beaufort for the past few years visiting all the great local locations that Hollywood has highlighted and have graced the scenes of many fabulous movies.

Now they’re expanding to offer new tours including a combination Movie/History tour, a walking tour and a new Sea Island Plantation and Gullah Tour with new tour guide author Pierre McGowan. Pierre is the author of two books  The Gullah Mailman and Tales of the Barrier Islands.

At age 87, Pierre is the oldest tour guide to have taken and passed the City of Beaufort Historic District tour guide exam. His daughter Kelly, also one of the tour guides at Beaufort Tours LLC.

To celebrate the addition of the historic Sea Island Plantation and Gullah Tour, which includes Penn Center and a visit to 2 of St. Helena Island’s historic plantations, the company is offering a 25% discount for the tour on Friday March 28th.
