Candice goes for it again as it's down to TOP 3 on American Idol

    Fresh off of an amazing Hometown Hero Visit, Beaufort’s Candice Glover continues to wow fans across the country on her way to the top on American Idol and will again sing for your votes on the two-hour episode beginning tonight at 8pm on Fox, as the Top 3 contestants will be performing three songs each.

    Tonight on the show, Candice will perform ‘Next To Me’ by Emeli Sandé,  ‘One’ by U2 and Mary J. Blige, and ‘Somewhere’ by Reri Grist/Barbra Stresiand.

    It should be another stellar performance from St. Helena’s favorite girl.

    After the performance, don’t forget to vote.  Vote online, on your phone, and any way you can.  You can actually vote a total of 1000+ times in the allotted two hour voting window by hitting re-dial repeatedly on your cell phone from 10pm through midnight.

    Watch Party

    Everyone is invited to get together and have a great time watching and VOTING collectively, as a community at the Highway 21 Drive In tonight at 8pm.  All of Beaufort’s Candice fans will get to view American Idol on the big screens and watch Candice perform, plus watch what they show of her Hometown Hero Visit to Beaufort.

    Gates will open at 6 pm and the show will begin at 8 pm.  Concession stands will be open as well.

    The event is FREE, but according to the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce special guests will be collecting donations to benefit the Candice Glover Community Celebration Fund to cover expenses from the American Idol Hometown Hero Visit this past weekend.

    So far,  more than $20,000 dollars has been raised to cover the costs of the event but more donations are still needed.
