The performance on the 18th is sold out but tickets are still available for the pre-show on the 17th.
CAPA's Dancing with Our Stars taking the stage this March!
Some familiar local faces in the community are hitting the dance floor for CAPA’s Dancing With Our Stars at USCB Center for the Arts this March in Beaufort, SC!
Heroes of the community, or “stars”, are paired with a dance instructor who will choreograph their performance to help raise money for CAPA Beaufort. All funds raised from this event help CAPA to serve the children and families of the Lowcountry. Specifically, this event helps to operate the Open Arms Children’s Home (the only home in Beaufort for abused and neglected children); to recruit, train, and support local foster families; to educate children on how to tell when the worst happened; and to prevent child abuse and neglect through a whole host of other prevention and intervention programming.
Teams will compete for four different awards:
- The Judges Choice Award for best performance
- The People’s Choice award for the most money raised
- The Alumni Choice award selected by past participants
- The Best Costume Award
