DUER High Performance Composites moving into Beaufort, with more jobs

A South Carolina business is expanding into Beaufort, bringing dozens of new jobs into town along with it.  Just announced at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, DUER High Performance Composites will be moving into a 50,000 square ft warehouse on Eleanore Fine Road, near MCAS Beaufort.

DUER High Performance Composites, currently located in Hardeville, does design and manufacturing work with materials such as resin-infused carbon fiber.  The move will allow the company to expand and will provide dozens of local jobs paying above the state average.  An industry leader in resin infusion and resin film infusion, DUER High Performance Composites serves the Defense, Marine, Medical, Industrial, Transportation, Automotive, Architectural, and Alternative Energy industries.

Beaufort Redevelopment Commission chairman Jon Verity says DUER will make “$1 million investment in community”.

More information about DUER can be found on the company’s website.
