Get the kids ready for some fun at the first ever Easter egg drop in Beaufort. The first ever Great Helicopter Egg Drop and Easter Egg Hunt is being hosted by Beaufort Academy on Lady’s Island on Saturday, March 31st.
In what is certain to be a day to remember, Beaufort’s new community-wide Easter celebration will have a festival atmosphere with four separate egg drops from a helicopter over the BA football field. You heard that right – a helicopter.
“Ten thousand eggs in all will be full of prizes including gift certificates to local businesses with TWO special grand prizes of one year FREE tuition at Beaufort Academy hidden in two golden eggs,” said Lisa Gallagher, the school’s Communications Director.
“We’re very excited to be able to bring this to our community. This event is the first community wide Easter Egg Hunt of its kind in Beaufort. We hae an awesome town and can’t wait to have them celebrate on our campus,” she added.
At the festival, kids will enjoy unlimited time having fun in bounce houses for a small fee, a live DJ, photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting and vendor booths; with hot dogs & goodies available from school clubs and also from Cookies by Charlotte, Kona Ice and Crave Cupcake Boutique.
“It’s always great to have families on our campus to celebrate as a community,” said Dan Durbin, Head of school at Beaufort Academy. “We look forward to the joyful sounds of happy, smiling children.”
This will undoubtedly be tons of fun for Beaufort’s kids.
