Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony to Honor those who Served

Join us for the Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony on Saturday, November 9, 2019, in Downtown Beaufort, South Carolina!

On Veterans Day we honor and remember those who have served to ensure our freedoms and to ensure the survival of the ‘American Way’.  What a small gesture of saying thanks to these men and women compared to the sacrifices they have made for each and everyone one of us.  A single day, just once a year seems never to be enough.

Here in Beaufort, we will be celebrating and honoring with a parade that begins at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Beaufort National Cemetery. It will be an abbreviated parade route that will end at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will include brief remarks and performances by The Parris Island Marine Band and the Robert Smalls International Academy Chorus.

10 AM – Parade Begins at the Beaufort National Cemetery

Food and beverages will be available to purchase from the Battery Creek High School Culinary Program and the Beaufort-Jasper Academy for Career Excellence (BJ ACE) Culinary Program so be sure to support our local students. Please don’t bring pets or coolers to the event.

The parade route is going to be a bit shorter since the ceremony will be at Waterfront Park so that’s where the parade will end. Below is a map courtesy of the Beaufort County Government SC Facebook Page.
