Are you an Adaptive Athlete looking to take up the Game of Golf?
This FREE monthly clinic for all men, women, and children with physical disabilities or challenges includes a short lesson and training with adaptive golf equipment.
The clinics target veterans and civilians throughout the Lowcountry that have physical disabilities or challenges. You’ll receive complimentary instruction on both the full golf swing and putting, taught by experienced professional golf instructors, fellow adaptive athletes who are already golfers AND helpful volunteers! Join Steve Giammona PT, other volunteers, and adaptive golfers EVERY “3rd Saturday of the Month” at the golf clinic held at The Legends Golf Course on Parris Island.
Our goal is to help those with DISABILITIES learn new ABILITIES through adaptive golf!
No prior experience with golf is necessary – just a desire to learn or to help others.
Already an experienced adaptive golfer? This is your chance to both refine your game AND help introduce others to the sport you love! You’ll assist with mentoring the “newbies” and you can work on your own game.
This clinic is FREE and open to participants of any age and ability level with any physical difficulties or mobility impairments. Remember…you don’t have to be a golfer to participate or to volunteer. The clinic runs from 9 to 11 AM with (optional) golf afterward.
