Who are Beaufort Lions?
The Beaufort Lions Club are local citizens who take their motto of “WE SERVE” very seriously.
Their members come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. From their youngest members to our young at heart members, they all work together to provide services to others, here in Beaufort County as well as Statewide and Internationally. Their primary mission is to help blind or visually impaired, but they also contribute to or work in partnership with many other organizations. Lionism came to South Carolina in Apr 1922. The first club was chartered in Columbia. Now they have grown to 175 clubs with a membership of over 6,000.
