Enjoy a Girls-Only, three-day weekend at Hunting Island State Park for the 2019 Women’s Coastal Skills Clinic!

Come out and PLAY in the Lowcountry! Kayaking, crabbing, eating oysters, sleeping under the stars, s’ mores, sharing stories around a campfire with your best girlfriends – can it get any better?

Join us for an exclusive outdoor experience designed just for women! This three-day workshop will expand your knowledge of the Lowcountry while teaching useful skills along the way. Learn about the history of the lighthouse, cast netting, salt marsh kayaking, shellfishing and more! It’s the perfect way to escape with your closest friends for a weekend you’ll never forget.

The South Carolina State Park system is hosting this fun weekend to experience the Lowcountry lifestyle through 11 interactive outdoor programs including kayaking, crabbing, a lighthouse program and much more. Enjoy a Frogmore Stew on Friday night for Dinner and a traditional Lowcountry Oyster Roast on Saturday night too! You can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or simply bring it along with you.

Overnight accommodations are your responsibility, but you can reserve a campsite and make it a true outdoor weekend. This program is designed for females ages 16 and older. Reserve your spot early as it is limited to 30 participants.

Flashlight, comfortable walking shoes, boots, and clothes that can get wet and muddy, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars if you have them (some will be available if you don’t).
