In the Christmas spirit with the Parris Island Band

By Ty Snowden |  The Fourth Annual Lowcountry Concert featuring the Parris Island Marine Corps Band at Beaufort’s Community Bible Church was a definite must-see over the weekend.   Chief Warrant Officer Stone, along with some fifty Marines put on one amazing show in front of a packed venue.  Though children fought over armrests and clicked around on iPhones, and teens texted and tweeted– every adult in the room had toes-a-tappin’ and fingers-a-snappin’ at the melodic Holiday tunes spilling off of the stage from a one of a kind band.

Children surrendered their attention for favorites like “Sleigh Ride” and “Must’ve Been Good ‘Ol Saint Nick”, while “Amazing Grace” kept viewers of all ages full of awe as a magnificent way to end the night.

The Parris Island Band is a special group, and was a delight in putting concert-goers in the Christmas spirit as the big day nears.

Ready or not, Christmas is now less that ten days away!
