One Week Boutique offers variety in children's items
By Jennifer McCormack | There is nothing better to do on a rainy day than to get the kids out of the house and go children’s consignment shopping in downtown Beaufort. For three days only, located at 812 Port Republic St., right down the road from the Beaufort Library, is One Week Boutique. Although it is not the most aesthetically pleasing, there are some great deals on children’s shoes, toys, clothes, and supplies inside when you start browsing the shelves. Some of the best deals that we saw were on Graco car seats, both double and single strollers, and a variety of baby swings.
Not only do they have a decent selection of clothes, but they also have feeding supplies, baby bath tubs, shoes, and a small selection of books and toys.
The items are collected from local consignors, and are selected from a wide variety of high-end brands. The One Week Boutique comes to Beaufort every year in March and they have yet to disappoint. Anyone is able to contribute items, and consignors get to take home 65% of the profits. The Boutique kindly provides early shopping hours for volunteers, consignors, grandparents and first-time moms. So, mark your calendars for next year so that you can take part in the action! Until then, the boutique will be open until 5 pm, today Friday 3/13, and then will be open from 9-2 pm, tomorrow Saturday 3/14, for a half price sale! Take a break from the rain to go check out some great deals at One Week Boutique in downtown Beaufort.
