Get equipped for spring at these local Beaufort clothing spots

Thus far in Beaufort, as y’all know, we’ve been meandering back and forth from bikinis and boats to bonfires and coats, and the coming weeks are still fluctuating anywhere from the high 50s to the high 70s. That being said, it seems like we may finally be clawing out of the cooler temperatures one sunrise at a time and that means hitting some local Beaufort clothing spots and doing some shopping.

If we are strategic, now is the perfect time to get your spring and summer wardrobe stocked up because once the heat officially hits, we will regret not doing so.

Here are our are 7 favorite local boutiques that will get y’all dolled up for the sunshine to come.

beaufort clothingBarefoot Bubbas: With two locations, Downtown Beaufort and Harbor Island, Bubbas can handle all of your beach needs. They have an array of attire and swimwear that you can use while hitting the local beaches or river. Also, if you are in need of renting kayaks or jet skis, they have you covered at the Harbor Island location.

 

beaufort clothingIt’s Retail Therapy: Another Bay Street favorite, the name says it all. After a long week, this is the place to come to unwind and find the perfect outfit for a night out on the
town or a family stroll in the sun. They have it all here—flowing blouses, stylish rompers, dresses, and the perfect shoes and accessories to top it off. And no worries—if you aren’t quite sure if you are savvy of the newest spring fashion, their stylist have you covered to discover what is just right for you.

SugarBelle: This adorable shop is located on Boundary Street right around Bellamy’s Curve. They are known for celebrating their “Sweet Southern Style.” If you are looking for a true Southern flare, this is the place to go. They have a wide array of dresses, blouses, bottoms, active wear, shoes (and cowgirl boots), and even jewelry. They even have an infamous sale rack if you are looking to save some money.

This trendy boutique is not only stylish, but provides clothing and accessories that promote the organic lifestyle. This includes materials that are friendly to our environment such as: bamboo, eucalyptus, and organic cotton.

This unique shop has a variety of apparel and accessories geared towards pop culture icons, super heroes, movies, cartoons, and television series. They are said to focus mainly on Generation X, but have blended other retro and contemporary genres into their shelves, as well.

Lotus Boutique: Over in Port Royal, off of Ribaut Road, you’ll find Lotus Boutique. This shop has jewelry and accessories galore. And. remaining true to their name, they embrace the true flower power. Currently in are endless dresses and tops with various floral patterns, all perfect for spring.

Higher Ground: Just over the Woods Memorial Bridge on Lady’s Island you can find Higher Ground Outfitters. If you are all about style, but are not the boutique type, this is perfect for you. Here you can find all of the active wear you need. Additionally, new swimwear is in, and they even can equip you with a kimono that can double as a beach cover up or to keep you safe from the shade on a chilly day. Also, don’t forget if you would like to rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards you can do that here
