Wreaths Across America places over 2,500 wreaths at Beaufort National Cemetery
Nearly 200 volunteers of all ages braved the driving rain on Saturday to participate in the annual Wreaths Across America event at Beaufort National Cemetery. What a sight it was to see that the rain didn’t stop anyone from honoring our heroes.
Saturday is National Wreaths Across America Day with wreaths being placed at veteran’s grave sites in all 230 National Cemeteries across the country.
Following a ceremony, 2520 wreaths were laid at the grave markers of our fallen military heroes. The largest amount of wreaths to date. The transport of the wreaths to the Cemetery was led by the Patriot Guard riders from Beaufort and Charleston, SC.
