Young Artist's Showcase at Whale Branch Elementary

By Ty Snowden | Whale Branch Elementary School, along with the Beaufort Black Chamber of Commerce held their Young Artist’s Showcase at the school on Friday night. The event featured artwork from Whale Branch ES students from Kindergarten through 4th grade.

While children scattered about, excited to see their classmates after the sun had gone down, parents made their way around smiling and commanding the youngsters accomplishments.

Though the event was an art showcase, the school did a marvelous job of reminding students and parents alike, that while art is an amazing thing, science and math are the keys to the future for America’s youth.
