Beaufort area restaurants refreshing and remodeling in 2022

Restaurants & bars throughout Beaufort’s Sea Islands are taking a break this January to freshen up their space, staff, and menus for a savory 2022

Many notices have popped up on social media in recent days as local restaurants and bars notified their customers of closures related to cleaning and repairs.

January has always been a slower month for the food and beverage world here in the Lowcountry. A much-deserved break after the busy holidays and a time to breathe before the warm-weather season kicks off again when folks flock back to enjoy our waterways, beaches, and savory local food here in coastal South Carolina.

With continued staffing issues and covid cases on the rise once again, the “slow season” is a perfect opportunity for restaurants to make updates – both internally and externally – so that new and repeat customers have a safe and delicious dining experience in 2022.
