Beaufort Town Center sets the stage for fun

By Ty Snowden |  The monthly Family Fun Day event over at Beaufort Town Center hosted a marvelous Winter Carnival on Saturday and locals swarmed at the opportunity to bring the kids out to enjoy bounce houses, face painting, clowns, hula hoop contest, an assortment of inflatables and more.  The Beaufort Fire Department was on hand, and The Beaufort County Animal Shelter brought some local pets that are available for adoption.

While the little ones were busy with their entertainment, adults had fun of their own with some food tasting from some of Beaufort’s favorites; The Irish Rose Pub & Bistro, Moes Southwest Grill, Jimmy John’s, Amata Thai Fusion and Rosie O’Grady’s. With local radio station 104.9 The Surf running the show, there were tons of giveaways from gift certificates to gift baskets too.

Beaufort definitely scored with this wonderful local event full of free food and fun! If you didn’t make it over, after much taste testing, I would suggest to check out some of the restaurants over in the Town Center- everything was to die for!

Look for Family Fun Day at Beaufort Town Center every month.
