Bitter cold temps to arrive in Beaufort

It’s going to be downright cold in Beaufort for the early part of this week and at times the temperature could feel as low as single digits. Make sure you bundle up from midday Monday through early Wednesday.

Here’s a look at the Beaufort forecast from the National Weather Service.

Monday: Temperatures will fall throughout the day with afternoon temps in the 40s and wind chills in the 30s, and conditions continue to turn colder by the late afternoon/evening..
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 23. Wind chill values as low as 13. Breezy, with a northwest wind 18 to 22 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 37. Wind chill values as low as 11. Northwest wind 10 to 16 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 26. Northwest wind around 9 mph.

Make sure you look after your pets during the colder days ahead and when you go out, make sure you dress in layers and wear hats, gloves and an appropriate coat.
